Configuration Steps——Step 1. First, we will format a USB drive FAT32 file system format.
Step 2. Then, create a txt file named “reset-password.txt” on the USB drive.
Step 3. Insert the USB drive into the USB port of HCI and restart the device.
Step 4. After the device restarted, open the web console of HCI in the browser. Once the web console can be accessed, pull out the USB drive from HCI.
Step 5. Check the file in the USB drive.From here, we can see that the file has become “reset-password.log”. Check the password inside the file. The password is admin.
Step 6. Now we can enter HCI by using admin/admin. Login to the Sangfor HCIweb UI.
After logging in, it will prompt that the account’s password is the initial password and advise you to reset it ASAP for account security.-END- not understand step 3 how to restart the device ?

Just insert the USB disk on the device then restart the HCI device manually.Please find the attached file for the latest version of HCI Password Recovery Configuration Guide_2023.
