Hi
Yes, Sangfor HCI can achieve fault tolerance for VMs (Virtual Machines). Here's how it might work:

Distributed Storage: Sangfor HCI likely utilizes a distributed storage architecture. This means that VM data is replicated across multiple storage nodes within the cluster. If a node fails, the VM can be restarted on another node using the replicated data.

High Availability (HA): Sangfor HCI might implement software or hardware-based high availability features. This ensures that VMs can be automatically restarted on a healthy node in case of a node failure.

Redundancy: Critical components within the Sangfor HCI cluster, like storage controllers and network interfaces, might be mirrored or redundant. This redundancy ensures continued operation even if a single component fails.

Here are some resources that you can explore to learn more:

Sangfor HCI Documentation: The Sangfor HCI documentation might have a specific section on features related to VM fault tolerance or high availability. Search for keywords like "HA," "fault tolerance," or "VM resilience."

Sangfor Website: The Sangfor website might have resources explaining Sangfor HCI's capabilities for VM protection. Look for brochures, white papers, or blog posts about Sangfor HCI's disaster recovery or high availability features.

Online Reviews: Search for reviews or comparisons of Sangfor HCI. User reviews might mention experiences with VM fault tolerance or disaster recovery functionalities.

Hi, on sangfor hci web ui, if you go to vm section, you can edit a vm and set a flag on high priority settings to ensure you that if the node where the vm is powered on fails, the vm will be moved automatically to the one of the other cluster's nodes.
