Dear members,

We are excited to share the results of our beta testing program, which lasted for 16 days and involved over 28 participants from Sangfor internal engineers and Sangfor partners. We achieved 100% coverage across all major product lines (NGAF/NSF, IAG, Endpoint Secure, HCI, VDI, and Cyber Command), utilizing 84 devices for testing.

Feedback Overview

During this period, we received 40 valuable pieces of feedback from all testers, focusing on functionality issues and suggestions for improving the overall experience.
Several partners have suggested 15 additional features, which we will consider for future updates.

Winners Announcement

As a token of our appreciation, we are thrilled to announce the partners based on their test feedback provided:

Congratulations to our winners! Each will receive a special prize as a thank you for their participation and input.

Here are some excellent suggestions from a selection of users:

From Ilham Maulana
Please provide for checking temperature also. We have difficulties for knowing the temperature because in customer not all devices are located in a decent place.

From Dhian P.
Please add the custom product logo for the user company on the pdf format report.

From Enrico
1. Please improve the message errors, i find it is too briefly. It would be nice if the tool on error messages suggest us some troubleshooting tips. An option about exporting errors when using acheck would be nice too.
2. If I reopen the gui from tray bar immediately and close it by a mistake. I have to relogin to community account. Hope it would be more user friendly.

From Randolf Raguingan
1. Combine the Word and PDF report templates into a single format. The Word report is much more detailed compared to the PDF format.

2. It would be better to add a logo of Sangfor NSF and the end user’s name based on the authorized user in the license tab to make the PDF report more professional.

3. Add sample results in the Process stack, such as: "20240822/21:10:42 || snmpd || [link-detect trap] report: Successful (link-detect eth1 be abnormal, please check)" similar to the results found in "disk space usage" and "disk smart info."

4. Instead of adding a "Functionality" tab in the report, we could use the name "Config Recommendation" or "Optional Recommendation/Configuration," since SNMP and Platform X integration is optional and not applicable to all users.

Next Steps

We plan to address all identified functionality issues and will launch the official version in September. Additionally, we will tackle the remaining experience improvement suggestions on a case-by-case basis after the official release.

We have created a dedicated space for you to discuss the update and share your experiences and insights after the release. All user guides, tutorials, and highlights of the upcoming features will be displayed under this category.(Path: Community > Categories > Sangfor Checks)
