Hello Masters!

I would like to know what is the technology that sangfor use to avoid the split brain issue specially when deploying 2 node HCI.

Hi, i strongly suggest you to consider a hci cluster with at least three nodes. From our knowledge on out customer, it's possible to set up a cluster with two hci nodes + a witness (a physical server with a specific hci version installed) but, if the server chosen as a witness does not meet the hardware and network requirements, your hci setup will experience slowness. If you need to setup a cluster with only two hci nodes, i strongly recommend the sangfor dedicated hardware solution to use as a witness.
Is this answer helpful?

Hello,
I strongly advise you to think about a minimum of three nodes in an HCI cluster. It is possible to build up a cluster with two HCI nodes and a witness (a physical server with a certain HCI version installed), according to our customer's information. However, your HCI configuration will be delayed if the server selected as a witness does not fulfil the hardware and network criteria. I highly suggest using the sangfor dedicated hardware solution as a witness if you need to put up a cluster with just two HCI nodes.
