HiHi,

Sangfor Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) does not natively support Terraform as of the latest information available on HCI Compatibility Chart:
Is this answer helpful?

Hello!

As of now Sangfor does not natively support Terraform for automating the configuration and management of their NGAF or other network devices. Sangfor provides APIs for managing their devices and you can use them to build custom automation scripts

Hello,

I asked to support Terraform 3 years ago but unfortunately this wasn't implemented.
There's  a method to automate but is very hard using RESTful API but I cannot find the documentation anymore.

Hi Ben,
I think it doesn't support it; it's not listed in the providers section of the terraform Website:

https://registry.terraform.io/browse/providers

A part from the support, you cannot connect using SSH to NGAF or HCI (the two systems that I've worked the most till now); from a configuration management view, Ansible doesn't work too for the point above.

If you want to configure or create an "automated" inventory of configuration, I suggest you to look at the API of the product that you need; it's a RESTful API where you can play around wiht basically "any" programming language.

In case you want to go this route, don't forget to create and enable a dedicated user for API consuption.

Best regards, have a good day,
   Thomas
