NGAF and VLAN

jkia Lv1Posted 11 Feb 2020 11:50

Hi! I'd like to ask if this config is good to go or not. I'm going to use made up IP addresses for better understanding:

eth0 - LAN (192.168.2.1)
eth1 - WAN (Static IP - 10.0.20.130 | Next-Hop IP: 10.0.20.1)
eth2 - WAN2 (Static IP - 192.168.20.224 | Next-Hop IP: 192.168.20.1)
eth3 - WAN3 (Static IP - 172.31.20.2 | Next-Hop IP: 172.31.20.1)
eth0.10 - VLAN (Static IP: 192.168.1.1 | Next-Hop IP: 192.168.2.1)
eth0.20 - VLAN (Static IP: 192.168.100.1 | Next-Hop IP: 192.168.2.1)
eth0.30 - VLAN (Static IP: 192.168.10.1 | Next-Hop IP: 192.168.2.1)

The connections setup is:

ISP1 connected to eth1 of NGAF (L3 mode)
ISP2 connected to eth2 of NGAF (L3 mode)
ISP3 connected to eth3 of NGAF (L3 mode)
Managed Switch - eth0 of NGAF (L3 mode)

Any help/ suggestion is appreciated. Thanks!

Eth 0 doesn't need to have IP address configuration. And remove the next-hop IP for your vlan/subinterfaces.
Is this answer helpful?

can you explain, why you are using the VLAN / sub-interface? What is the purpose? Is it for your LAN (trusted network area) or anything else?
