To configure MAC authentication for internet access on your Sangfor IAG device, follow these general steps:

Log in to the Sangfor IAG device's management interface.

Navigate to the MAC Authentication configuration section or menu.

Enable MAC authentication and ensure that it is set as the primary authentication method for internet access.

Configure the MAC address whitelist or allowed MAC addresses. This list will contain the MAC addresses of devices that are allowed to access the internet.

Add the MAC address of the device you want to grant internet access to the whitelist.

Save the configuration changes.

Once the above steps are completed, the device with the specified MAC address should be able to access the internet through the Sangfor IAG device.

Here are the steps on how to configure MAC authentication for internet access on a Sangfor IAG device:
  • Log in to the Sangfor IAG device.
  • Go to Security > MAC Authentication.
  • Click Add to create a new MAC authentication rule.
  • Enter the following information:

Name: A name for the rule.
MAC Address: The MAC address of the device that you want to allow access to the internet.
Action: The action that you want to take when the device matches the rule. You can choose to allow or deny access to the internet.

  • Click Save.

Once you have created the MAC authentication rule, the device with the specified MAC address will be able to access the internet. Any other devices will be denied access.
Here are some additional tips for configuring MAC authentication:
  • You can create multiple MAC authentication rules to allow or deny access to different devices.
  • You can also use MAC authentication in conjunction with other security features, such as IP address filtering or user authentication.
  • If you are using a guest Wi-Fi network, you may want to consider using MAC authentication to restrict access to authorized devices.

I hope this helps!
