The URL logs can be viewed under the Content Security logs.

To generate URL logs for users in Sangfor NGAF, you need to follow these steps:
  • Log in to the Sangfor NGAF management console.
  • Click on "Security".
  • Click on "URL Filtering".
  • Click on "Log Settings".
  • Check the box next to "Enable URL Logging".
  • Select the period of time for which you want to generate logs.
  • Click on "Save".

Once you have enabled URL logging, Sangfor NGAF will start to generate logs for all URL requests that are made by users. These logs will be stored in the Sangfor NGAF database.
To view the URL logs, you can follow these steps:
  • Log in to the Sangfor NGAF management console.
  • Click on "Security".
  • Click on "URL Filtering".
  • Click on "Logs".

The URL logs will be displayed in a table. The table will show the following information for each URL request:
  • The IP address of the user who made the request.
  • The time the request was made.
  • The URL that was requested.
  • The status of the request.
  • The reason for the request being blocked, if it was blocked.

You can use the URL logs to track the websites that users are visiting and to identify any malicious websites that users are trying to access.
Note that:
  • The amount of data that is generated by URL logging can be significant. If you are not using a large amount of storage space, you may want to consider disabling URL logging after a certain period of time.
  • URL logging can be used to track the browsing activity of users. If you are concerned about user privacy, you may want to disable URL logging or only enable it for a specific period of time.

I hope this helps!

You should find a button to enable or inspect URL logs in the logging or monitoring area. The term "URL Logging," "Web Traffic Logs," or a phrase to that effect may be used to describe this.

In Sangfor NGAF, you can view URL logs by doing the following steps:

Access Logs > Application Control Logs under Monitor.
A time period, source zone, IP, destination zone IP, and the search action can all be chosen.

Log Event in Policy must be enabled if you want to view the log.
The records can then be found in Monitor.
- Content Security (Path: Security Logs > Monitor).
Application Control is accessible via the path Monitor > Access Logs > Application Control Logs.

Depending on your requirements, you might want to filter the URL logs to view logs for specific users. Look for filtering options that allow you to specify criteria such as user ID, IP address, time range, and more. This will help narrow down the logs to the data you're interested in.

Within the logging or monitoring section, you should find an option to enable or view URL logs. This might be labeled as "URL Logging," "Web Traffic Logs," or something similar.

Look for a section in the console that's related to logging, monitoring, or reporting. The exact location might differ based on the NGAF version, but it should be under a section that deals with security policies, traffic analysis, or similar categories.

Access the NGAF management interface using a web browser. Enter the appropriate URL or IP address to access the management console.
