Hi Team
in Sangfor Download Section, the dashboard show Old and New structure.
Can you help to understand the differences?

Regards.

In the Sangfor Download Section, the Old and New structure refer to the two different layouts or designs of the interface. The Old structure represents the previous version of the interface, while the New structure refers to the updated or current version of the interface. The main difference between them is the visual appearance and possibly some functional improvements in the New structure, designed to provide a more user-friendly experience and better navigation for users.
Is this answer helpful?

Based on the image you sent, there is no significant difference between the Old and New structures in the Sangfor download section. They both display the following information for each downloadable package:

Name: The name of the downloadable file
Description: A brief description of the file
Size: The size of the file
File MD5: The MD5 hash of the file, which can be used to verify the integrity of the download
Last Update: The date and time the file was last updated
Download: A button or link to download the file
Operation: An additional option or link that may be specific to Sangfor software (e.g., Copy Link)

Here's a table summarizing the information displayed in both Old and New structures:
Feature        Old Structure        New Structure
Name        Yes        Yes
Description        Yes        Yes
Size        Yes        Yes
File MD5        Yes        Yes
Last Update        Yes        Yes
Download        Yes        Yes
Operation        Yes        Yes

The only minor difference I can see is that the "Description" column in the New Structure seems to wrap text, while the text appears cut off in the Old Structure.

It's possible that there are some functional differences between the two structures that are not visible in the image. For example, the New Structure might offer additional features or functionality that is not available in the Old Structure.

Hi, old version stands for upgrading physical STA o.s. We deployed Cyber Command appliance on Datacenter and a STA appliance on our customer's network as a virtual machine and we use STA new version .

Old Structure: This likely refers to the previous layout or organization of the Sangfor Download Section. It may have had a different navigation system, categorization of products or solutions, or user interface compared to the current structure.

New Structure: The "New" structure represents the updated or redesigned layout of the Sangfor Download Section. It may have been introduced to improve usability, accessibility, or to accommodate changes in the range of products or services offered by Sangfor.

Hi,

I think that this is related with old versions of STA  hardware and new ones.

HiHi,

You can check the firmware version of your STA to determine whether it is an old or new version.
Please refer to the screen capture below for your reference.

Hi,

would suggest to check the current version you are using and see whether it belongs to OLD or NEW version. it is also best to consult with Sangfor support for clarifications and assistance.
