Sangfor Community Guidelines

Welcome to Sangfor Community! We are thrilled to give you a warm welcome to this space.

Our mission is to provide instant and professional technical support, helpful technical documentation, and video sources to all of our users, and create an active open forum where everyone could ask, answer and discuss Internet Security and Cloud computing.

To that end, we will be working hard to ensure that we align our actions with that purpose. These Community Guidelines should not only help you understand how to act within the community but also help you understand what to expect from others in this space.

1. Registration

First thing first, let’s talk about registration.

As a Guest, you are not required to register as a member if viewing and browsing are all you need for the moment. You can talk with our Live Chat support, view most of the public content in the community, including the forum posts, and events, and even download the public documents in Resources.

But if you are ready to join your peers, ask, answer and discuss the trending questions in the forum, participate in the hot events to win coins and rewards, or need to create a support case for your work, then you will need to register and Create an Account.

1). How to Register

  • We recommend you register the community with your corporate email and fill in your contact information correctly. Then when Technical Support is required from your side, we can contact you immediately and precisely without spending extra time on contact communication. Saving much time.
  • Registering with a disposable email is forbidden.
  • Only 1 account for 1 user. Multiple accounts for the same user are forbidden and will be deleted.





2). Account Types
There are 3 types of accounts in the community: common users, VIP members, and Partners. The last 2 require identity verification.

3). VIP member
If you are using a Sangfor product, we highly recommend you verify your account as a VIP member.
As a VIP member, you will receive double coin tokens for all your behaviors, much faster and more convenient for you to save up coins and redeem your favorite gifts!


4). Partner Account
If your company is a partner with Sangfor, please verify your account as a Partner, you can access more resources exclusive to Sangfor Partners in the community, and have access to the Sangfor Certificate Program!

2. Explore the Community

Now, you are a member of the Sangfor Community!

You can create your first post to introduce yourself to everyone or ask a question that bothers you. By clicking the Post button on the navigation bar] You can reply to our events to win gifts or view and download our massive documents. Most importantly, you can create a Support Case if you need help, and track the handling status all in your account!

3. Etiquette and Guidelines

As we are an open forum that thrives to provide everyone with professional technical support, we want to create a pure and informative atmosphere here so that everyone is learning and progressing through each visit! Therefore, we have made the following rules to achieve this goal for all of us.

1). Etiquette

1. Answering questions posted by other members, helping them solve problems
2. Sharing technical experience or best practice
3. Actively participating in the online/offline events
4. Giving feedback about Sangfor products or community
5. Learning technical documents and obtaining a Sangfor Certificate
6. Contacting Sangfor Support if in need through Live Chat, Open Support Case, and Email (tech.support@sangfor.com)
7. Reporting any violations or breaches of rules of other members by clicking the Report button in each post, or contacting the community team to help build a helpful forum for everyone
8. Applying for Moderator for a sub-forum (contact community@sangfor.com for the details)

2) Forbidden Behaviors

  • Copyright or intellectual property violations, or copy and paste others' replies in any threads
  • Registering multiple accounts (sock-puppets) to claim coins
  • transferring coins between accounts to redeem gifts
  • Any harassment or hateful conduct, including discrimination, sexual content or nudity, and violent content
  • Spam and scams
  • Impersonating other users, harming others, or acting maliciously
  • Promoting products/services that are not related to Sangfor
  • Any Illegal activities

4. Rights and Benefits


1) Points
Sangfor Community adopts Point to show how much a member has contributed to the community. When a member posts a topic or comments on a post, 1 point will be awarded, and another 5 points will be awarded if that topic is selected as a featured post. All newly registered members will start with Level 1, and more privileges will be unlocked with a higher account level.

2) Coins
The coin is a virtual currency in the Sangfor Community. You can redeem coins for rewards in the Store. Rewards are updated monthly. If you have any suggestions for new rewards, we'd love to hear from you!



3) Badges

A badge stands for a membership, a characteristic mark, and even an emblem awarded for a particular accomplishment. Currently, we have Identity badges, mission badges, and honor badges.

5. Punishment

  • It is forbidden to use software problems or system errors to get coins or redeem gifts. In serious cases, we will work with Sangfor's legal department to pursue legal responsibility. Sangfor Community will block the user’s account which violates the rules permanently.




  • If there are data errors or abnormal user rights including points, coins, badges gift redemption, etc. caused by system bugs or software problems, Sangfor Community has the right to fix the data errors and adjust the abnormal rights.




  • The Guidelines will be updated regularly, and the final interpretation of this guideline belongs to the Sangfor Community.

6. Closing Your Account

You or Sangfor Community may terminate the Agreement at any time and for any reason. You may do so by terminating your Sangfor Community account or we may do so by giving notice to you that we are terminating the Agreement. We may suspend the Service to you at any time, with or without cause. We won’t refund or reimburse you in any situation. If your account is inactive for 24 or more months, we may terminate your account. Once your account is terminated, you acknowledge and agree that we may permanently ban your account and all the data associated with it, including your Points, Coins, Replies, and Topics.
