External Auth Case using MS-ADDS

zeni Lv1Posted 07 Oct 2021 15:25

Hi All,

I have a case like this :
we have old domain using microsoft AD DS for example = domainA.com
in domainA.com we have userid = 111111

and now we are changing the domainA to domainB.com
domainA.com and domainB.com have the same user list.
so, in domainA.com there is user id 111111 also in domainB.com there is user id 111111.

In the process of migration, we set trust relationship between those two, wwe partially migrate user from DomainA to domainB.

We set SSO & External auth using both server (domainA & domainB).

My question is, if we are using web login,
Username : --> how to identify user from domainA and domainB since both domain contain the same user

thanks b4.

Good day! You could enable "Username of domain user is domain account plus domain name" option under Access Mgt>Authentication>Advanced>Authentication Options to differentiate same username in different domain name.

Is this answer helpful?
