To change the IPMI default IP on Sangfor HCI, log in via the default IP, go to Network Settings, update the IP, Subnet Mask, and Gateway, then save and reboot if needed. Verify the new IP by pinging it and logging back in. Make sure the new IP doesn’t conflict with other devices.

To change a server's IPMI default IP address, follow these steps:

1. Connect to the server: Use a computer connected to the same network as the server.

2. Open a web browser: Enter the current IP address of the server’s IPMI interface to access the management interface.

3. Log in: Enter the admin username and password. The default credentials are often "ADMIN" for both, but check your documentation.

4. Find the network settings: Once logged in, look for a section called "Network" or "IPMI Settings."

5. Change the IP address: Enter the new desired IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. Make sure the new IP does not conflict with other devices on the network.

6. Save the changes: Click on the save or apply button to update the settings.

7. Restart the IPMI interface: Sometimes, you might need to restart the server or the IPMI interface for the changes to take effect.

8. Test the new IP: Try accessing the IPMI interface using the new IP address in your web browser.

Make sure to have a backup of your current settings just in case you need to revert.
